G36 Family

The G36 Family is a group of German weapons developed by Heckler & Koch GmbH.

Members of Family[]

Currently, there are five weapons that are members of the G36 Family in Phantom Forces:

• The G36, an Assault Rifle unlocked at Rank 25.
• The G36C, a Personal Defense Weapon unlocked at Rank 7.
• The MG36, a Light Machine Gun unlocked at Rank 33.
• The G36K, a Carbine unlocked at Rank 6.
• The SL-8, a Designated Marksman Rifle unlocked at Rank 34.

Trivia[]

• The G36 was originally developed for the Bundeswehr (German Army) to be a rifle firing new NATO standard ammunition.
  • The next standard German service rifle was expected to be the G11, firing caseless ammunition. Budget cuts forced H&K to abandon the project and begin work on a more traditional design, and the G36 was the result.
