The Executioner is a Brazilian Revolver, and a higher caliber variant of the Judge. It is unlocked by default in the Test Place.

History

With the popularity of the Judge revolver, Taurus created the Raging Judge, a magnum revolver. Revealed in 2010 at the SHOT SHOW, with the chokes removed from the chambers, the Raging Judge can accept and fire the .454 Casull round, a very powerful round. It can still chamber the .45 Long Colt and .410 shotshells that its predecessor.

Usage & Tactics

The Executioner can be treated like a sniper mostly because it has a decent one-shot headshot range and high fire rate, but it does have high recoil which a recoil-reducing attachment can be used to lower the recoil. A high zoom optic would be recommended. Another alternative would be hip firing in close quarters, taking advantage of the one-shot torso range.

Conclusion

This gun is great with high recoil or CQC orientated weapons. It's a great backup gun if you run out of ammo or have a slow reload gun. Very long range can be easily done with a optic that has decent zoom.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • One-shot kill headshot up to a decent range.
  • High damage.
  • Highest velocity and penetration in class.
  • One-shot kill to the torso at close range.

Cons:

  • Heaviest recoil in class.
  • Second lowest ammunition reserve in-class.
  • Slowest walkspeed out of any secondary in-game.

Trivia

  • This is the first weapon in-game to be chambered in .454 Casull.
  • The name of the gun, along with the Judge and the Jury, forms the English idiom "judge, jury, and executioner". This idiom essentially means that the person in question is in charge of all decisions made, and those decisions are all final, as if the legal process was suspended.
