Skins[]
Skins are a set of textures that players can put on different zone of their various weapons' and melees models, with few exceptions such as the Frag
Skins are divided in 5 rarities
- Common (60.00% Base Drop Rate)
- Uncommon (26.00% Base Drop Rate)
- Rare (10.00% Base Drop Rate)
- Very Rare (3.00% Base Drop Rate)
- Legendary (1.00% Base Drop Rate)
Mercy System[]
For every case opening, the Drop Rate gets modified. Legendary drop rates increase 0.25% per Case opened if the player hasn't rolled a Legendary or Very Rare Skin. Very Rare drop rates increase 0.50% per Case opened. Common drop rates decrease 0.50% per Case opened and Uncommon drop rates decrease 0.25% per Case Opened. Rare drop rates remain at 10% all the time. If the player rolls a Very Rare or Legendary Skin, the drops rates reset to the base numbers. As well, skins are divided in 2 categories
Normal Skins[]
Normal Skins are non-customizable skins that the player can get in most skin cases. They are usually lower tier skins, and do not feature any sort of control over how the skin is visually presented.
Customizable Skins[]
Unlike normal skins, customizable skins feature the ability to edit brick color, brick material, texture color, and texture scale. These skins are usually much rarer. In cases like Fauna or Fauna 2, customizable skins are marked with an asterisk. The asterisk convention is not exactly well kept, with some case with no duplicates featuring asterisks, while others feature the asterisks.
"All*" type Skins[]
The "All*" type skins, introduced in version 8.0.0 after a giveaway hosted in the Stylis Discord Server, are an exclusive type of skins that CAN NOT be currently obtained in game through normal means. Only the developers can grant access to these skins. These skins are functionally identical to other skins, but instead of being restrained to just one weapon, these skins can be used across every weapon and melee in the game, as the "All*" name would suggest.
Selling Skins[]
Skins obtained can usually be sold, the price depending on the rarity as well as the Tier of the case they were rolled from. The price of all skins is determined with the following formula:
The value of goes from 1 (Common) to 5(Legendary)*, while represents the price of the case's key. The result of this formula is then passed through roblox's math.floor() function to round it to the nearest integer
*Note: Legendary skin's rarity doesn't affect this value
Legendary Items[]
If the players get lucky, they can roll a "Mystery Item" of Legendary Quality, which will grant them a skin for a randomly selected melee weapon which has a random chance of being a melee weapon the player doesn't own. If the legendary skin obtained is for a melee weapon the player doesn't have, they will be granted access to said Melee weapon. Certain Melees in the game can only be obtained through this method.
The following Melee Weapons can only be unlocked through Legendary Skins
- Cleaver
- Karambit
- Hunting Knife
- Mek Leth
- Tactical Spatula
- Chosen One
- Longsword
- Hattori
- Nordic War Axe
- Asp Baton

Buying Cases and Keys and Assigning Weapons to Cases[]
Players can spend Credits, or alternatively Robux, to buy Cases and their respective keys, independent of each other. The price of a case key is always twice the price of the case (Example: The Starter Case costs 50 Credits, the Starter Key costs 100 Credits). The robux prices are always a tenth of the credit prices (Example: The Starter Case costs 50 credits or 5 robux)
When a player purchases a case, they are given the option to set the case to drop skins for one specific weapon before completing the purchase. They CAN NOT change their weapon of choice once the transaction has been completed. If the players want to assign a weapon to a case obtained through the victory bonuses or for a case they bought unassigned, they have to pay a small fee that ranges from 15 to 50 credits depending on the tier of the case. Assigning a Weapon to a Case DOES NOT prevent it from dropping skins for melee weapons
Trading-In Skins[]
Players who chose to can decide to exchange 6 skins of the same rarity for one skin of the next rarity level (Example: Trading in 6 Common Skins will return an Uncommon Skin in Exchange). The game only allows players to trade in skins from the same case, with the only exception being skins from the 4 Starter Cases and the "Jungle" skin from the COR5 with the Common Skins of the Uniform Case. The skin that the player obtains in return will be a randomly selected skin of the superior rarity from the case the previously traded skins come from
This method can be used to obtain legendary skins

Trivia[]
- Despite having an asterisk, the Canada* Case doesn't have any counterparts in any other Case Category
- The skin "FUNNY SKELETON" from the Indie Horror case was originally going to be named Sans but got renamed to avoid copyright issues
- At release, the skin "Golden Rattlesnake" from the Topographic Case used the same texture as the "Alabaster" skin, a higher rarity skin. This issue was later corrected
- The SCL Case, as of January 2022, is the case with the fewest skins in the game. However, it is also the only case with ongoing support, as more skins are going to be added after every SCL Season
- The "All Might T*" Skin features one of the default player models from Bad Business
- The skin "Ducks*" from the MLG Case uses the same texture of the "Waffle" skin from the Meme Case
- The "Amigara Fault" Skin from the Topographic Case is named after the manga The Enigma of Amigara Fault by Junji Ito
- The "Ghostfreak" Skin from the Topographic Case is named after an alien of the same name from Ben-10
- This category currently contains the highest number of customizable skins, with 143 customizable skins
- The "Asanbosam"(*) skins get their name from a popular myth in Western Africa
- The "Melasa"(*) skins are the spanish name for molasses
- The "Guahaihoque" skin gets its name from a Colombian Folk Metal band, which itself takes the name from one of the local indigenous deities
- The War Paint case features several skins that resemble similarly named cosmetics available in Valve's Team Fortress 2
- Despite it being referred to in the patch notes as "Sinusoidal", the Sinus case kept the shortened version
