NOTE: GUIDELINES ARE SIMPLY RECOMMENDED. WHILE NOT FOLLOWING GUIDELINES WILL NOT RESULT IN BANNING, IT IS RECOMMENDED YOU FOLLOW THEM. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN NOT BEING PARTICULARLY LIKED BY ANYONE IN THE WIKI.
THE FOLLOWING WILL NEVER RESULT IN A BANNING IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES:
- Editing articles.
- Questioning bans.
- Respectful disagreement with staff decisions.
- Having an unpopular opinion.
THE FOLLOWING MAY RESULT IN A BAN IF RESULTS IN REPEATED OFFENCES:
- Posting incorrect data.
- Creating awful/terrible pages.
- Harassing staff for a promotion.
- Editing a user's personal guide.
- And so much more (Ask staff for details).
Creating New Pages
Want to create a new page about a gun, attachment, or something else? Make sure that page doesn't exist yet. Most weapons and attachment pages exist, unless more weapons/attachments were created by Lito. If you're unsure, ask staff.
Creating a guide? First talk to staff first (Particularly Aurified, he creates the guide pictures) and choose a topic that hasn't been described yet. However, it is recommended that one pick a topic not so vague (Don't think, "How to win on the crane map." Instead, do "How to capture the crane.")
This is important, so pay attention. When a member wants to be promoted, we create a page for s/he to put his/her resume and a poll. YOU SHOULD NOT EDIT THEIR RESUME. On all promotion pages, there will be a warning. The first time you do it, it's okay (In fact, one of our staff members edited the spelling) but refrain from doing it again. If you do it the first time and edit a bunch of stuff that changes the meaning, you may be banned/reprimanded severely. Even if there are small mistakes, do not edit them. These mistakes assist us in judging on whether to promote that person or not.
