I honestly dont have much of an issue with any of these maps.
For dunes and refinery, I haven't experienced any issues with people spamming snipers or shotguns or stuff like that, they both seem to support cqc and sniping pretty well. And along with the fact that they are both pretty underused makes them, for me at least, a very welcome change in pace from the usual familiar maps like desert storm, ravod etc.
As for mirage, cranes look stupid, but I do feel that it's a lot better than it was before the revamp. It is now a lot more viable to use other class types than just snipers since those cranes provide easier ways to scale the buildings and ambush the snipers since there are also now a lot more options for scaling those buildings allowing for different tactical routes to be taken.
This is all just my uneducated opinion so I'll let you determine the credibility in what i've said yourself, but yeah I think these maps are pretty alright as of now.
What REALLY sucks right now is Bazaar since the new shotgun buffs have gotten so much exposure that literally everyone on the enemy team will be using a ksg or r870 lol which are one shot monsters in that map since its so cqc oriented.
Ain't this my wall, so I'm supposed to answer this?
Dunes isn't half bad. Mid-range is useful, as I use the TRG-42 in the rooms. It can get one-sided however.
It's hard to one-side Mirage...but it isn't too great either. YOu either snipe, or get sniped. Also, the hill on KOTH is much too hard to retake.
Refinery is the epitomy of one-siding, along with Suburbia. Pushbacks result in the opponent fully retreating and getting spawnkilled, and with ony a few players, the hill is untakeable. It isn't too bad, in terms of playability.
Overall, I don't really mind what I play, it's just the mood for what weapon I want to use.
Heya! So what I added on the Sten page was actually not a hyphen (-), but an em dash (—), which has a different purpose in standard English punctuation. The hyphen surrounded by spaces is actually not correct; an em dash should be there instead (with no spaces). This just gets ignored a lot in casual use, since it's not on the keyboard.
If you're editing a page in Source, you can add it easily by clicking "More" button and then selecting it from the list. Specific dash usage is a pretty subtle thing to remember, but is something I personally think we should aim to adhere to on the wiki.
The new suppressor update changed a lot about stealth. Now, there isn't permanent stealth. I just edited it to reflect more of what I play, however, a good solution is to keep your secondary unsuppressed, to attract attention and lure enemies.
Now the the 60% thing is prob not that true, more like 50% maybe less I don't really know. But still, a big chunck of the community doesn't use the radar. Also they are doing some cool stuff to the radar in the Test Place, check it out. Make sure you get Desert to get the full experience of the new radar.
alrighty. first off, i find that grips reduce the recoil. that's nice and all, but apparently it decreases aiming speed, which is a bit of a problem. mitigating the recoil is more important to me, however.
there are way too many assault rifles to list individally. aug a1 and a3 are nice, the m16 series, the an-94, as val, ak47, and ak74.
thanks. it often makes opponents ANGERY
manga is cool, yes
i don't play too often. along with this, i started like june last year
every gun has its own ups and downs. i think the ak12c is just a bit meh, and there is more variety in the other guns
well, i'm not pfw editor yet (only wiki member). it's also just a badge, but it shows that you can do large-scale contributions to the wiki, and mainly trusted. it also allows a possible moderator promotion.
damnnn that's nice. if it's not defamatory, etc, that's cool by me.
