A unique design taser that works by mashing the button to keep a consistent stream of shocking power!
–In-game description

The Stun Gun is a One Handed Blunt melee weapon in Phantom Forces. It is unlocked at rank 61 or be unlocked early by rolling a LEGENDARY skin for it while opening a case.

History[]

The first Taser was first developed by Jack Cover, a NASA researcher, in 1969. He would then complete the first functional device in 1974, naming it TASER, using a loose acronym from the title of the book Tom Swift and His Electric Rifle. He developed this device as an alternative to firearms in law enforcement[1]

The first models of the taser were offered in 1976, under the name of TASER Public Defender. Since it made use of gunpowder as a propellant, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) classified it as a firearm, which limited its sales, which would contribute to the collapse of TASER Inc., the company that had formed in order to sell them[2]

From 1980 onwards, the Taser, while not notably successful in sales at the beginning, became a solid choice for law enforcement officers and security contractors.

Model[]

The Model is attributed to Poodros in the weapon's description
