    • CQB: M45A1

      Anything else: M1911

    • Personally, I always loved the 1911. It's high damage and fast reloads always kept me on edge, the ability to 2HK to the head in most situations like a DMR, and the sexy ironsights.

The only reason I used the G17 over this as my main pistol is the mag size.

But the M45A1 comes along and sweeps me off my feet. The M45A1 is my favourite .45 ACP as of now, but the 1911 holds a special place in my heart and the G17 remains my active combat pistol.

(if you put custom skins on the M45 and enable materials, the iron sights will be removed)

    • 1911: slightly better max range, much higher min range, torso multiplier that allows for a 3SK at range, overall higher damage stats etc. . Only downside is the slightly (2 bullets) lower capacity and reserve.

    • M45A1 Gives alot of skill for CQC when your stuck in a situation battling more than 1 player, and you ran out of primary ammo, It still overpowers 1 player, But can handle 3 players too if used correctly..

    • @Sojitsu: I think the skin glitch has been fixed.

Shame, since I didn't need those irons anyway.

I think there should be an option to just remove iron sights for pistols, since they're mainly CQB anyway, and I think it's most appropriate for guns really good in CQB like the M45.

    • M45A1. To me, more mag. capacity means better for a pistol. Its grey model looks great too.

    • M45A1.

Its not like youll snipe with a pistol right?

    • ^ Kind of, but the M1911's 3SK to the Head and Torso at range greatly affect, say, finishing off an enemy compared to the M45A1, which is why I like it so much.

    • M1911 for that situation where you need to kill that bfg user

        Loading editor
    • M1911 if you're accurate and M45A1 if you favour more bullets. To me it should be Deagle 44 vs M45A1. Not because the M1911 isn't competitive, it's just it is the middle of both them. Again, Deagle 44 if you need power and you're accurate and M45A1 if you need more ammo.

    • The M1911 vs M45A1 situation is loosely versed on versatility, not power. To face the M45A1 up against the DEagle 44 is like comparing a shotgun to a Assault Rifle; it just doesn't make sense.

    • Well, I'd like to say that the .45 pistols are pretty powerful, being able to go toe-to-toe with the magnums. The magnums and .45's both 2-hit up close, have lower mag capacities (except the M45), and all kick more than an M9. Only difference is one calliber family got 1HKO to the head and the other got 700+ rpm.

    • If I had to, I'd compare the M1911 or M45 to the 9mm family. Both focus on versatility, with the 9mm's taking away better STK potential for a higher capacity, 45's vice versa.

    • The best one for me is the M45A1

The M1911 was a close second

    • hehe

    • M1911, definitely. Just all around stronger and more versatile. Also, I think the M1911's irons look better and are more satisfying to use than the M45A1's lol.

    • M45A1 is more versatile, because magazine capacity and better attachment options.

    • Doing one less torso shot at range easily makes the M1911 more versatile, regardless of capacity and attachment options.

    • I can't really make a decision since I can never use these pistols effectively. I just seem to keep missing shots.

But in CQC, I'd take the M45. The regular M1911 for more combat versatility.

    • Personally, I would prefer the M45 since pistols are meant for CQC not to mention 10 bullets can be handy.

      M1911 for versatility.

    • I love the 1911 for poppin heads at sniper range. the m45 is my active combat pistol due to it being a pocket deagle yet has a 10+1 capacity. 1911 will come in extreme cqc situations where the deagle is too unwieldy and the m45 does not 2 shot. (25 to 30 studs) which is most likely to happen in metro. ill also take 1911 for faster follow up at longer range when i feel that deagle has too much recoil and does not settle fast enough.

    • We have to agree that these two weapons both have the best secondary Iron Sights. (then again, it is competing with the likes of the 1858
      1858aim

      Oof.

       New Army)

    • 1858 new army is more accurate than deagle give that thing armor piercing and boom you got a pocket dmr

    • New Army sights aren’t too bad. Simple notch and post, front sight differentiates enough from the rear sight, and it’s overall easily visible.

There’s no real good or bad secondary sights IMO. It’s hard to fuck up a simple notch-and-post.

    • Full ring sights are bae <3

        Loading editor
    • I agree Camaro but to fuck up a notch and post just requires you to simply fuck up the barrel itself which is easier than it looks when you start using pistol WHIPPIN CREAM on the army.

    • Out of these I like the m45a1. Higher RoF, more bullets, and damage reduction isnt a hard deal.

        Loading editor
    • you know with the five seven in the mix recently, as long as you have the aim no other pistol competes.

        Loading editor
    • M45A1 imo because I don’t wanna use the Santa Claus gun
