Just curious, I would like to know what your favorite gun is just to trigger people.
I have two main Setups:
Others: Armour Piercing
Reason: 4.5 Stud penetration depth, also a lot of bullets!
Sight: VCOG x6 Scope
Barrel: Flash Suppresor
Underbarrel: Vertical Grip
Others: Armour Piercing
Reason: When put on Semi-Auto, it makes to be a very Viable DMR, not to mention how fun it is to snipe people with a PDW period!
I just made this up for fun, but I would like to know everyone's opinions!
my fav troll gun is the AA-12. Drum mag, vertical grip, ARS or PBS supressor to tighten up the choke in CQC (IK supressors increase spread but they do make a tighter pattern at ranges below 50 studs compared to non supressor shottys) and a laser. Mow them down.
second fav may be the M107. Muzzle brake, laser, delta sight or z-point, and stubby grip. Now i basically got a KS23 on drugs with a reload that gives me 10 "slugs" per reload. Feels so good taking it into prison and getting the team wipe because they lined up for collats in the narrow hallways lol.
oh and bare spas 12 with flechette. its not a shotgun, its an assault rifle that dumps half of a magazine in one trigger pull.
M4A1. ARS supressor, (or PBS-1), vertical grip, laser, and eotech. Put a light sand brown skin on it and you got what most people call the COD MW:2 noob camper loadout. (granted the MW2 M4 had a much higher ROF of 850 PRM on the PC version on multiplayer)
(people use bling and combine supressor and some other attachment and then ghost and stopping power for the ultimate stealth camper loadout. that was a very cheesy loadout as not only the M4A1 in MW2 had high enough ROF to be a laser bullet hose, the way supressors worked in MW2 made you undetectable by radar)
Still the MG3KWS isn't that much of a threat tho. I used it, encountered lots of them. Just sneak behind them and pull the trigger. I'd prefer using ARs like the M16A3 over LMGs anyday unless if I were to use my SCAR-HAMR.
I don't believe the M60 is overpowered, but there is a unique psychological advantage you can only get from using a stupidly bulky gun that is slow in both mobility and firerate, that you are using with zero attachments and are getting the full blast of the thing's pretty intense recoil. All while it still being an incredibly effective weapon.
For my troll loadouts, I like to go with the classics; KS-23M birdshot only or Saiga flechette, Zip 22 with VCOG or If you want to start a plague epidemic on your server, pull out the MP5K no attachments and camp the enemy spawn.
The thing is with the stigma the M60 has, people just dont want to deal with it and that stigma is very deserving considering how brutally effective the gun is in the hands of noobs with even half decent aim on maps like Bazzar and Warehouse. But you know whats even more brutal?
When your team actually works together with 3 machine gunners defending hill, 5 grenadiers conducting de facto artillery strikes on the enemy spawn, and several assault rifle and shotgun users to cover the machine gunners when they are reloading (and to provide ammo since the Lmg's they are most likely going to be using are the ones compatible with assault rifle ammo), and several DMR's or snipers to cover up any gaps. The rest can work as sabotuers flooding the enemy spawn and keeping them thinned out as much as possible. Do that on Bazzar KOTH, and you got a recipe for 5 minutes of total domination over the hill and easy victory.
@FMJGAMING Certainly the M60 is extremely powerful, but putting into consideration I found it only stands out as a Mid-Range offense/defense LMG when compared to MG3, RPK-74, HK21. Sure the damage is extremely high, rivaling that of the AK-47 in terms of profile and recoil is managable, whether no attachments or a good setup. But at close range it will suffer, even weapons with damage profile like 4 - 5 SK (3 - 4 with headshots) like the M16A3, HK416, FAMAS, heck even the G36 if you're capable of delivering a single headshot, followed up by more shots to anywhere you want. The M60's maneuverbility (not talking about reload yet) will be the M60's downfall in CQC and sluggish RoF demands accurate shots in order to kill people in CQC.
At range it is certainly capable of automatic suppression, up to 200 - 300 studs. Which could drown the snipers if they don't move or force them into repositioning. However skilled ones could just pop a shot on the M60's user head, instantly neutralising him.
I certainly do understand the stigma the M60 gets and sometimes it is justified, especially the insane wallbang and powerful sustained automatic fire can quickly force your enemies to reposition, but when the M60's targets split up and open fire at the user then the M60's a total joke, forcing it's user into cover or die.
That is a well made point but the reality of the game is for every M60 user, he has at least 5 assault rifle buddies backing him up, especially in the cramped maps where the team spawns are literally an arms length away.
I perform pretty well with snipers well past the 450+ stud sidelines. In other words, expect me to be the guy who camps at the absolute limits of the edges of the map and kills you and your teammates from such distances. I just recently got a 25 killstreak on highway with all of the kills beyond 950 studs away with a intervention with no ballistics tracker. Literally shut the enemy team down as they cant walk out of the parking lot and buildings without being shot at. Even tried to votekick me for "exploit abuse" LMAO.
