is the ballistic tracker worth it?

As we all know the Ballistics Tracker is a phone that is strapped to your gun and makes it easier to headshot opponents......or they say. But I have seen people and YouTubers use it and it not do anything. I main the Aug Habar (yes I know that I suck geez chill out) and I'm at 248 kills (i started 3 days ago) but I have enough credits to get the Ballistics Tracker. Is it worth it? HELP!
